Originally released in 2012, the debut album by Seu Pereira e Coletivo 401 marked a turning point in the music scene of Paraíba. Recorded at a time when distribution was still done in a handmade way through the internet, the album quickly won over a loyal audience, who recognized in the blend of rock, samba, and urban poetry a genuinely Brazilian identity—at once popular and inventive. With this work, the band began a journey that would take them from João Pessoa to stages in São Paulo, Brasília, and Goiânia, as well as festivals such as DoSol, Rec-Beat, and Rasgadinho, along with tours in Europe and Senegal. The repertoire of this album contains the songs that laid the foundation for a path full of encounters and experimentation—songs that were born as instant classics in the alternative circuit and became the gateway for an entire generation of listeners. Now, more than a decade later, this record returns in its first vinyl edition — pressed on 180g smoky wax — to celebrate the history and strength of a group that has never ceased to engage with its time, its places, and its audience.
